The RESIN and the Final Platinum casting set. | Unleash your creativity and send us your design concept. We will draw it on the Matrix CAD program precisely matching your specific dimensions. BEST-CAST can build the piece from the drawing into a polished metal piece within a few days. This is a brief overview of the process: - Your customer Comes up with the idea and goes to you
- You put down the design on paper as a simple sketch with dimensions and specifications: such as ring Size 6 , Center stone preference in mm. round, princess, metal type, etc... and E-mail or Fax the drawing to Us
- We transfer the idea to the CAD Program, drawing the design according to the specifications and preferences provided.
- When the CAD wire frame is ready, We E-mail you a rendering (a picture how the piece will look ) for your approval. Feel free to print the emailed picture and draw on top of the rendering with a pen together with your customer. This is the best interpretation of the changes needed, then email us that printout. We will call you as soon as we get it.
- Upon approval we transfer the CAD data to our Perfactory machine which will produce the plastic prototype from the drawing
- This plastic RESIN prototype will be used to cast the piece in the metal of your choice with the "Lost Wax" technology
- The casting will be tumbled and at that point is your choice to have the item finished using our services or finish it with your craftsman.
- The final piece will be shipped overnight to your office by FedEx.
This whole process can take as much as one week or more depends on the complexity of the design. |

I just received the master of the USS Clark from Best Cast, and it is an incredible piece of work. There are no steps on the hull or deck, and the detail will speak for itself. The guns, masts, tripods, and detail parts are exquisite, and I feel this will become one of the best destroyers yet done in 1/1250 scale. I will send the model to Neptun tomorrow via Global Express mail, and I think you will agree that this is the kind of master that we have been hoping for!
I cannot speak for others, but based on what I have seen, I will now forward all our rapid prototype work to Best Cast. As for the USS Clark, I think an initial production run of 120-140 units is in order. Once again, I am very pleased with the quality of this master.
